I enjoy a challenge and am always seeking new ways to push my comfort zone. As a lifelong writer, expanding to design has been a lot of unsure steps with many slips and trips, but I'm happy to look back and see that my path, though nonlinear, has led me forward to many new projects completed and skills gained.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Maryland, College Park with a minor in Asian American Studies. I am currently expecting to graduate from the University of Baltimore in May of 2023 with my Master of Arts in Integrated Design.
I've worked in healthcare communications and as a contractor for NASA, both for the Goddard Space Flight Center as well as on an agency-wide level. My favorite parts of my work are storytelling and connecting with people to get them excited about the great work my organization is doing! Taking an organization or project and bringing focus to its people is my favorite way to turn a broad concept into a relatable and resonating story.
When I'm not working or in school, I'm probably looking for comedy or music shows to attend. I'm always trying to explore more of the creative scene in Baltimore as well as Maryland at large. I joined a team for the Baltimore Kinetic Sculpture Race and also enjoy improv when I feel like stretching the old vulnerability muscles.
